2016年6月27日，美國國際貿(mào)易委員投票決定對部分噴墨打印機(jī)、打印頭和墨盒及其零部件（Certain Inkjet Printers, Printheads, and Ink Cartridges, Components Thereof, and Products Containing Same）啟動337調(diào)查。涉案產(chǎn)品為打印機(jī)、打印設(shè)備及其零部件，包括打印頭和墨盒。
　　2016年5月27日，美國HP Inc.向美國ITC提出337立案調(diào)查申請，指控對美出口、在美進(jìn)口和在美銷售的部分噴墨打印機(jī)、打印頭和墨盒及其零部件侵犯了其專利權(quán)（美國專利注冊號：6270201、6491377、6260952、7004564、7090343和7744202），請求美國ITC發(fā)布一般排除令（或有限排除令）和禁止令。
　　美國最終將以下企業(yè)作為指定應(yīng)訴方：愛爾蘭Memjet, Ltd.、美國Memjet US Services, Inc.、美國Memjet Home and Office, Inc.、澳大利亞Memjet North Ryde Pty Ltd. 、愛爾蘭Memjet Technology Ltd.、愛爾蘭Memjet Holdings Ltd.、美國Afinia LLC、美國Astro Machine Corporation、美國Colordyne Technologies, LLC、美國 Formax Technologies, Inc.、美國 Neopost USA, Inc. (d/b/a Neopost Northwest, Neopost Northeast, Neopost Priority Systems, and/or Neopost Southeast) 、美國Printware LLC、美國VIPColor Technologies USA, Inc.、美國ABC Office (d/b/a Brent Barlow) 、美國All for Mailers, Inc.、美國Fernqvist Labeling Solutions, Inc.、美國Information Management Services LLC (d/b/a MyBinding.com) 、美國JMP Business Systems, Inc.、美國Mono Machines LLC 、美國Ordway Corporation (d/b/a Print & Finishing Solutions) 、美國Pacific Barcode, Inc.、美國Pacific Code & Label, Inc.、美國Parts Now! LLC、美國Trademark Copysystems Inc. (d/b/a Addrex – Addresser Sales Company)和美國 Vivid Data Group LLC。
